Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born on November 24, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a politician, and a television host on MSNBC, a frequent contributor for The Huffington Post, and the former co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball have made it clear they were leaving the show at the end of May in 2021. They planned to launch their own independent project called Breaking Points. Ball is the co-host of the show Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has also appeared as a guest on networks like CNN, CNBC, Fox News as well as programs like Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball says that her fascination with politics due to the fact that she became a new mother during the 2008 primaries and also watching the outcome of the 2008 US presidential election while working in Jordan. She observed how it affected the citizens of the country, and came to appreciate for US political influence across the globe. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district in the 2010 election, losing to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. From June 2012 through July 2015, she was the co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. She created the People's House Project in May 2017 to support Democratic causes.
